Beautiful Little Things
in the First Week of Winter
When I was little, I hated winter because it was torture to get up early in such a cold season. I hated the chilly wind while I took off my pajamas to change school uniform, and I also hated the coldness when my butt touched the toilet seat. However, I started to appreciate winter recently. Since I am a college student now, I can get up in my own little cozy room later than I did in high school. And somehow my bathroom is warm, so my butt is fine by now. I think it is easier for me to get happiness in winter, even the sun which I hate in summer seems to be bliss in winter. So I was extremely excited when I heard that it was going to get cold the next week. To welcome the winter, I decided to write down every little but beautiful thing every day⏤

It was finally cold enough for me to wear my white shirt with super duper cute black stitches and red buttons!

I sang all the way to my student’s home. With the protections of the mask, helmet mask, and strong wind, I didn’t need to worry that I might be heard! And I ordered three wheel pies after I got off. BTW, today was my sister’s birthday, but none of my family remembered😉

I had steamed taros and a cup of warm milk tea as brunch. I met my landlord before I went to school, and she said I looked thinner! At night, I had a hot pot with my roommates and gossiped a lot as usual. After I went back home, I started online shopping. I placed orders as soon as the clock struck 12 because it was 1111! Since I don’t have a boyfriend, I had to treat myself better like a boyfriend🥲 I bought a gorgeous green leather jacket. Although it is troublesome to clean and maintain a leather jacket, it is so gorgeous that I couldn’t stop thinking about it😍

It was really my day! I finished my last midterm exam and Taylor Swift’s re-recorded album⏤Red was out! I’ve loved her for almost half of my life, so I’m really excited! There are 30 songs in her album, including All Too Well (ten minutes ver.). I listened to it all the way back home, and I almost cried, so I bought the album right after I got home. The MV is on now. Every time I listen to “We're dancing 'round the kitchen in the refrigerator light”, I start to imagine the beautiful scene, and 10 years later, Taylor Swift did it! That MV is like a movie with beautiful theme music, it’s a masterpiece! I strongly recommend watching it😍😍
My first week of winter ends with playing “All Too Well” on a loop. I do believe everything would be fine with a good beginning. Hope I would have the best winter ever after with RED!
