Videos I Made during Summer Vacation

This year, I had the longest summer vacation of my life. During the vacation, I cooked almost every day, made some desserts (sometimes became a disaster), watched many dramas, started a new habit—writing diary, exercised and finally lost 2 kg (sounds really pathetic), and made 9 videos! And I’ll talk about the process of making those videos.

The first video I made after distance learning

was my birthday vlog. Different from the videos I

made before, this video was filmed by a camera,

so there is a lot of progress in the quality (but the

camera is really heavy) It included birthday wishes

from my college classmates, high school friends,

and my family. Although I cannot see anyone in

person, it is still a special and happy birthday

I’d ever had!

I really like my next video called武漢肺炎防疫操.

I coincidentally watched this video on Instagram, so I

decided to cover it. It took me a lot of effort to remove

the background, but it was really well-received! (btw I

bought a green screen after that)

The idea of the next video popped up in my mind

while I was about to sleep, which made me barely fell

asleep! When I woke up, I rushed to shoot it right away.

I love to make desserts, especially I’m in love with

cinnamon rolls, so I recorded the procedures for making

cinnamon rolls and I held my cinnamon roll like Rafiki

holding Simba in Lion King at the end of the video. It was

really hard to shoot this type of video all by myself, so the

cinnamon rolls were slightly burnt, and I was harshly

scolded by my mom……

During Olympic Games, I also made 2 videos. One is me imitating Lin Yun-Ju playing table tennis after I watched the finals. The other is cheering for Tai Tzu-Ying.

This channel actually started with exercise weekly,

but because exercise weekly needs to record for a

longer period, and it is funnier to have companions,

I haven’t updated it for 3 months since distance

learning. I decided to resume exercise weekly until

summer vacation came. I played badminton with my

sister and called my friends to exercise together online.

When I was cleaning my room, I found a box of magic

props. So I practiced for one day and then showed my

friends and recorded their reactions. This is the longest

video I’d ever shot, plus my procrastination, I cut it for

a WHOLE month. And because the video was too long,

I finally created a YouTube channel!

The last two videos are about the animations I watched called HUNTER×HUNTER and Attack on Titan. These two videos are really short and scarcely need editing, which is a great break for an exhausted girl who just cut a video for a whole month. Although someone might not catch them, I really love my works.

Although it was just few weeks away from my summer vacation, I have started to miss it. Now, I still make use of trifle time to make videos. Hope I won’t have too much homework so that I keep making videos!
